Although Bakers Hall is not licensed to hold marriage ceremonies, we are the ideal venue for a wedding reception, lunch, or dinner.

We will bring our extensive fine dining and events experience to bear to make the day of your City wedding truly special. We are also just next door to the beautiful urban garden in the ruins of Wren’s St Dunstan’s church, which makes a stunning backdrop for those all-important wedding photos!

A wedding in the City of London offers a host of possibilities. In this ancient community you will find an atmosphere like no other; vibrant and sophisticated, yet thrumming with history and tradition. Venues for a wedding ceremony are everywhere, not least in the 40 historic churches packed into the City’s 1.1 square miles. Many of these churches were rebuilt after the Great Fire of 1666 by Christopher Wren. Each of these Wren churches is a masterpiece of 17th century classical revival architecture, by one of the finest architects this country has ever produced. Still other City churches are older still, with All Hallows-by-the-Tower still being partly made up of its original Saxon-era materials.

Of course, London’s Anglican tradition is only part of the story. Religions and cultures from all over the world meet and live side by side in and around the City, and this is reflected in the diverse array of places of worship. Hindu, Sikh and Buddhist temples, Mosques, Synagogues and churches of all Christian denominations are all to be found in and around the City, and within easy reach of Bakers’ Hall.

The City boasts 40 Churches, and other places of worship are to be found throughout London. Click here to explore some of the places where you could hold your ceremony.
