The Court Room

The Court Room is the meeting place of the Court of the Worshipful Company of Bakers. In times past, this historic body oversaw the baking trade in the City, and punished transgressors.

The Master Baker, his Wardens and Assistants still meet here formally, four times a year, to plot the direction of the Company and administer its charitable and other functions.
