333rd Anniversary Charter Dinner

On 20th March 2019 Liverymen, with their partners and guests, dined in Bakers Hall to celebrate the 333rd anniversary of the signing of the Worshipful Company of Bakers fourth, and current, Royal Charter.

Those present were informed and entertained by a speech on Royal Charters given by William Hunt, former Windsor Herald of Arms.

Also present was the Master Skinner, Lord Lisvane, and Alderman Nicholas Lyons.

Catering was provided for the first time by “ The Clink”. This charity gives prisoners in training the opportunity to gain experience in event catering. Service staff are made up of graduates from The Clink’s training schemes and disadvantaged people. The WCB were pleased to be able to give them this opportunity to cater in Hall.
