Coronavirus Update 15 June 2021

Coronavirus update as at

Tuesday 15 June 2021

Dear all,

The government has set out a “roadmap” for the reopening of the country following the repeated lockdowns which have so afflicted us during 2020 and into 2021. You can see this roadmap here https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/covid-19-response-spring-2021/covid-19-response-spring-2021-summary.

Baker’s Hall reopened for both Company events and outside events on Monday May 17th 2021.

For the following nine weeks, we are delighted to welcome you to Bakers’ Hall for events with people seated at tables for up to six or two households.

We can happily accommodate up to 48 guests in the Livery Hall on this basis for catered functions of all kinds including corporate meetings, anniversaries, celebrations and weddings, City events, and Masonic lunches and dinners.

On Monday July 19th 2021, (unless the government changes this date) all remaining restrictions should be lifted, and we would hope to be back to normal at last, hosting your event for up to 90 guests.

If you would like further information about arranging events at our beautiful hall, please visit https://www.bakers.co.uk/hall-hire or speak to our Events Manager, Martina, on 07548 024448.

It will be such a pleasure to reopen our doors and to see Bakers' Hall busy again after the past year of lockdown.

With kind regards

Lance Whitehouse

Clerk to the Worshipful Company of Bakers
